MMG ABCT Professional: A Journey of Faith, Hard Work, and Growth
MMG ABCT Professional was founded by Menard Garon, CPA (CGA, Canada | CPA, Philippines), on August 13, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta. Built from humble beginnings, MMG stands for Accounting, Business Consultancy, and Taxation — a full-service firm created with one simple but powerful vision: to provide honest, professional, and personalized services to businesses and individuals, regardless of size or stage.
With no large marketing budget, no influential networks, and being naturally introverted, Menard knew the journey would require patience, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose. MMG’s first steps included posting business cards in local Filipino grocery stores, reaching out to businesses through cold emails and calls, and attending to every client inquiry with utmost sincerity.
Even when faced with obstacles — like the suspension of business emails and the slow pace of initial growth — MMG chose to stay grounded. These early challenges only strengthened the firm’s commitment to building relationships based on trust, professionalism, and service excellence.
Today, MMG ABCT Professional is proud to serve a growing portfolio of small businesses and individuals across diverse industries. What started with one client through a simple Marketplace post has flourished into a trusted firm built on faith, hard work, and gratitude.

Menard Garon, CPA, CGA
Founder & Principal Accountant
Menard Garon is a highly accomplished Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) with over two decades of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and business analysis. His expertise spans diverse industries, including banking, property management, oil & gas, construction, retail, hospitality, and manufacturing, making him a versatile and trusted financial professional.
Menard began his career by passing the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exams in the Philippines in October 2005. In 2010, he earned accreditation from the Philippine Board of Accountancy to practice public accountancy, further solidifying his credentials. After migrating to Canada in 2013, he continued his professional journey, achieving the prestigious designations of Certified General Accountant (CGA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) by 2016.
Throughout his career, Menard has been instrumental in streamlining financial processes, enhancing internal controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. Notable accomplishments include:

He is also proficient in leading accounting software such as Yardi, Great Plains, MRI SAP, and QuickBooks, as well as payroll systems like ADP and Ceridian.
